The Ukrainian men’s SuperLeague resumes Thursday, 1 October 2026, following a six-month pause after last season ended on 2 May. Dnipro remain the clear favourites — the article records a combined 96–5 record across regular seasons and playoffs over the last three years — and have kept most of their core, including Stanislav Timofeyenko and Volodymyr Konev.
Several clubs reshaped rosters in the off-season. Kharkiv Sokoli replaced coach Valerii Plekhanov with Dmytro Zabirchenko and added former Kyiv-Basket players Denys Klevzunik, Maksym Sandul, Artem Romanytsia and Yehor Sushkin; Sokoli will stage home games in Kyiv this year. Kyiv-Basket signed Nazar Kholod and Illya Kabatsyra and added three foreign players, including Eddie Hunt. New SuperLeague entrant Khmelnytskyi reinforced with three legionnaires led by Zak Lavday.
Competition format returns to a travelling schedule: three round-robin circles, then top eight playoffs (quarterfinals best-of-three, semis and final best-of-five). Broadcasts: 50% of matches exclusively on Kyivstar TV free, other games on the Basketball Federation’s YouTube and one match per round on Suspilne Sport.
