Brovary residents reported daytime power cuts on October 1 after the city mayor, Ihor Sapozhko, said emergency repair works by DTEK were underway. The outages are concentrated in the central part of the city and at two other locations.
The mayor listed affected locations as the central area around Heroes of Ukraine and Independence Boulevard, Bilodibrovna, and the old centre. Utility crews are conducting repairs and checking the condition of damaged supply objects.
Sapozhko’s office says partial restoration work is already complete in some places and that full recovery of centralized power supply is planned for 19:00. Residents are advised to follow official city and DTEK channels for real-time updates and to expect possible further short-term interruptions.
