On 30 September 2026 Viktor Postol, former WBC world champion in the light‑welterweight division, ran an open training session at the boxing hall of Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav. The event began after 17:00 and brought together young athletes, students, local coaches and sports‑club members.
Postol gave a masterclass demonstrating his technique, shared professional training tips, led joint sparring exercises and finished with autograph signings and a group photo. University staff and the local boxing coach, Ihor Yurchenko, helped host the session; Andriy Pyvovar, head of the university sports club, spoke about restoring full activity at the facility.
Local officials attended: Mayor Vyacheslav Saulko addressed participants, and Volodymyr Kanna—long active in Pereiaslav sport—was present. Organisers also discussed potential cooperation involving the FILA sports brand, Postol and local athletes.
