Kyiv’s Southern Bridge has been closed to traffic. The Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) announced the restriction and said it will lift the closure only after receiving an expert conclusion about the bridge’s condition.

KMDA specified that movement during a yellow-level air-raid alert will be restored once experts confirm the structure is safe and meet the requirements set out in their assessment. The administration framed the decision as contingent on that technical report rather than on a fixed timetable.

Drivers and commuters should follow official KMDA channels and traffic updates before travelling across the southern crossing, as authorities have tied reopening to the outcome of the expert review.
