Kyiv officials say road traffic in the capital and Kyiv region may be temporarily limited on Saturday, 4 October. The announcement, published by local media citing the State Guard of Ukraine (Upravlinnia derzhavnoi okhorony, UDO), covers short-term security measures connected with visits by foreign delegations.

The UDO explained that state protection is provided for visiting heads of state, governments, parliaments and international organisations. Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) also asked residents and visitors to take the information into account when planning trips. The agency did not publish a list of specific streets, times or exact locations for the closures.

Drivers and anyone planning to be in central Kyiv on 4 October should allow extra travel time, consider alternative routes or transport, and watch official KMDA and UDO channels for more detailed timing and route information as it becomes available.
