Kyiv patrol police reported that a road traffic accident on Chokolivskyi Boulevard has complicated traffic heading toward Sevastopolska Square. The incident was reported on Oct. 4; authorities say vehicles are moving with delays in the affected direction.
Police recommend drivers planning to go toward Sevastopolska Square consider alternative routes such as Povitroflotskyi Avenue, Valeriy Lobanovskyi Avenue, Vadym Hetman Street (depending on the trip origin), or local streets near Solomianska Square that connect onward. Officials warn that redistributed traffic may also increase congestion at Sevastopolska Square, Povitroflotskyi Avenue, Lobanovskyi Avenue and adjacent Solomianskyi district streets.
Motorists are asked to keep a safe distance while emergency services work on scene and to avoid blocking access for special-purpose vehicles. Police have not released information about injuries or other circumstances of the crash; check local traffic updates for developments.
