Anastasiya Radchuk, from Bucha, reached the top five at the WAKO 2026 World Championships held in Lido di Jesolo, Italy. The tournament brought together young athletes from 75 countries; Radchuk competed in the -52 kg low‑kick category.
On her way through the bracket she recorded a victory over the South American champion representing Argentina. Radchuk was eliminated in the quarterfinal by the current world champion from Greece; tournament organisers report that the Greek athlete went on to win the gold medal.
Radchuk trains at the STAFF school of martial arts under coach Anton Artiukh and is a member of Ukraine’s national team, where she works with coach Oleksandr Ukraynets. Her placing adds to Bucha’s presence on the international kickboxing stage.
