Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled 18 additional shuttle runs of the Kyiv City Express between Vydubychi and Darnytsia for 5–9 October to ease cross-river travel while city road traffic is significantly constrained. The carrier says the extra trains operate during the busiest commuting windows: morning 06:00–09:00 and evening 16:00–21:00.

All shuttle trips will make a mandatory stop at Bereznyaky. At Vydubychi, boarding and alighting for the shuttles will be from track 3; at Darnytsia, shuttles will use track 1 or 2. Regular suburban and regional services on the Konotop, Nizhyn, Hrebinka and Slavutych directions will continue to call at these stations.

Ukrzaliznytsia notes that combining scheduled services with the extra shuttles will provide as many as six cross-river trips per hour during peak periods. Passengers should consult the operator for exact times and platform updates.
