Valve October VRS ranking drops NAVI to 34th — club’s worst result AI

Valve published its October 6 VRS world ranking: Spirit remains top, Legacy rises to second, and Kyiv-associated Natus Vincere (NAVI) fell 23 places to 34th — the worst ranking in the club’s history. The update also assigns direct invites for BLAST Rivals S2 (9–15 Nov) and PGL Bucharest 2027 (17–24 Jan). Kyiv esports followers: NAVI’s fall changes their standing for upcoming tier‑1 invites and is reflected in the VRS list that decides December–January tournament slots.

Valve released the October 6 VRS world ranking used to allocate direct invites to tier‑1 CS2 events. Spirit retained first place on 2046 points while Legacy climbed to second (1931) and Vitality sat at 1911. G2 returned to the top five (1847), and Astralis rejoined the top ten (1674).

The updated list determines slots for BLAST Rivals Season 2 (9–15 November), which awards eight main‑stage places by global ranking, and PGL Bucharest 2027 (17–24 January), which grants 14 main‑stage slots by world ranking plus six European slots in a closed qualifier.

Positions for teams with Ukrainian ties: G2 are fifth (+3) and secure invites to both events; FUT are eighth (−4) and also receive invites; B8 are 13th (no change) and get a PGL Bucharest invite but would reach BLAST Rivals only if five higher teams decline; Inner Circle sit 20th (−6) and may enter Bucharest closed qualifiers. NAVI dropped to 34th (−23), the club’s worst result on record.
