Kyiv authorities have changed how trains run on the green (Vyrlytsia–Syrets) metro line after damage to the Pivdennyi (Southern) bridge. The Kyiv City State Administration said that during peak hours—approximately 7:30–10:00 in the morning and 16:00–20:00 in the evening—train movements on the surface section that crosses the bridge are being regulated by dispatchers so that only one train is on the bridge at a time. To manage this, trains are alternating their turnbacks at the Vydubychi and Osokorky stations.
Outside the peak windows the metro is operating on its normal timetable. Passengers were asked to take the temporary changes into account when planning trips and to check official Kyiv metro or KCSA notices for updates. The press report also notes that city authorities recently revised movement rules on the green line for air-raid alarm levels: under a yellow-level threat surface trains can still carry passengers between the right and left banks, while some lines have operational limits under that threat level.
