Kyiv Metro tests platform zoning at Syrets station with stickers for children, pets and low-mobility passengers AI

According to Znaj.ua (14 Aug 2026), Syrets metro station is piloting new platform zoning: adhesive navigation stickers have been placed on the platform that recommend where different groups—children, people with animals, and passengers with limited mobility—should stand. The visible stickers at Syrets are a local trial to guide where people wait on the platform, which could make it easier for caregivers, pet owners and passengers with reduced mobility to find suitable space and for other riders to board more smoothly. Kyiv passengers using Syrets should notice the new markings while the test is underway.
