Kyiv Metro shifts green line timetable during peak hours AI
Kyiv City State Administration says green-line trains will follow a special schedule during morning and evening rush hours—about 7:30–10:00 and 16:00–20:00—because only one train can be on the Southern Bridge at a time. Dispatchers will regulate trains and services will alternate turnarounds at Vydubychi and Osokorky. If you commute on the green line, expect regulated departures and occasional waits during both morning and evening peaks; plan extra time for trips across the Southern Bridge.
Kyiv Metro has introduced a temporary peak-hour timetable for the green line, the city administration reported. During morning and evening rush periods—approximately 7:30–10:00 and 16:00–20:00—dispatchers will control train movements because the Southern Bridge currently allows only one metro train on the bridge at a time.
To manage that limitation, trains will alternate turnaround operations at Vydubychi and Osokorky stations. Outside the stated peak windows, the metro will operate to its regular schedule. The city asks passengers to factor these temporary changes into trip planning and to monitor official Kyiv City State Administration and news updates for further adjustments.
