Kyiv's Dynamo have extended goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret's contract for five years, the club announced on 7 October 2026. Neshcheret, a product of Dynamo's academy with Champions League experience against Barcelona, has made 95 appearances for the first team and is currently recovering from injury. The long-term renewal secures a homegrown starter for Dynamo while the club temporarily re-signed Georgiy Bushchan on loan during Neshcheret's recovery.

Dynamo Kyiv's press service announced on 7 October 2026 that the club has signed goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret to a new five-year contract. Neshcheret is a Dynamo academy graduate who made his first-team debut on 31 October 2020 against Dnipro-1.

The club notes that Neshcheret featured in the Champions League group stage against Barcelona and has totaled 95 appearances for Dynamo across all competitions. He helped the team win Ukrainian Premier League titles in 2020/21 and 2024/25 and was part of the squad that won the Ukrainian Cup in 2025/26.

Neshcheret received his first senior national-team call-up in March 2026 and was included in the squad for the World Cup qualifying play-off matches. The club also says he is currently recovering from an injury; Dynamo temporarily brought back goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan on loan while Neshcheret recuperates.
