The Kyiv City State Administration reported a temporary suspension of metro trains and escalators on October 8 after a drop in voltage from external power feeding centres. Local social pages also reported interruptions to some surface electric transport during the outage.

Updates from KMDA published via Glavcom say service began returning first on the blue and green lines, and by 19:24 trains were running on all lines. Services are operating with extended intervals: the red line about every 10 minutes, the blue line about every 5 minutes, and the green line about every 10 minutes. All stations are open for entry.

Passengers should plan for slightly longer waits and check official Kyiv metro or KMDA updates for any further changes.
