Astralis is undertaking a major CS2 roster rebuild after failing to renew contracts with Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard, HLTV reported. Earlier rumours linked Ukrainian AWPer Mykyta “cmtry” Samolotov and Polish player Kamila “siuhy” Shkaradek to the organisation.
On October 8, 2026, Sport.ua reports that both players were seen in Astralis’ practice room, which may indicate they have joined the team for joint training. A widely shared tweet lists an expected lineup of Staehr, phzy, ryu, cmtry and siuhy.
HLTV and media outlets have relayed the sightings; Astralis has not posted a formal roster announcement in the cited report. Kyiv fans should watch Astralis’ and HLTV’s official channels for confirmation of any permanent signings.
