Kyiv city officials reported that an absence of voltage in the overhead contact network disrupted the movement of many trams and trolleybuses, producing widespread timetable delays across the city. The Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) confirmed vehicles were running with deviations from schedule while crews worked to restore service.

Tram routes affected included numbers 1, 2, 3, 14, 15 and 18. Trolleybus routes reported running off-schedule were 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9‑K, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22‑K, 23, 25, 27, 30, 31, 33, 35 and 40.

To partially cover gaps, the city launched temporary bus services: bus 3‑T replaced tram 3, and bus 14‑TK replaced tram 14; routes 21 and 101 were extended from the Pochaina metro station to the Industrial overpass. KMDA later reported that trams 1, 2 and 3 had resumed normal movement, though some routes still ran with delays. Passengers are advised to build extra time into journeys and check official transport updates before travel.
