The Department of Youth and Sports of the Bila Tserkva City Council reported that three local youth workers received the Kyiv region’s top youth honour. The laureates named by Espreso are Alina Harkavenko (coordinator of the city Youth Centre), Nataliya Lanovska (staff at the Youth Centre) and Maksym Bryzhytskyi (member of the civic organisation AP TU DEYT).
The award honoured them in the nomination “For contribution to development of the youth movement.” According to the municipality, the prize recognises young people whose activity, initiatives and achievements contribute to the development of Kyiv region. The cited work includes implementing youth initiatives and projects, direct interaction with young people, and creating new development opportunities.
The reporting notes the regional distinction reflects not only individual effort but also sustained team work by people developing youth policy in the Bila Tserkva community, and signals growing recognition of local youth initiatives beyond the city.
