Police report that the collision happened on Friday, 14 August, at about 13:00 on Pokrovska Street. A Toyota Auris driver was turning right into the Farmer's FOOD parking from the far right lane when a 17-year-old riding a Hensin motorcycle behind the car failed to notice the maneuver and struck the vehicle. The teenager sustained injuries and was transported to Pereiaslav hospital for examination; medics suspect a closed fracture of the large toe on his left foot.
Separately, at 20:16 the same day police received a report of damage to a Toyota Camry on the Boryspil–Pereiaslav road near the village of Myrne. The Camry driver told officers that an unknown object suddenly flew out from under the wheels of a passing truck and punctured his vehicle. Police on site took the driver's statement, drew a schematic of the incident, and secured the stretch of road.
