Forecasters say the pattern will change on 19 August, when daytime temperatures in the capital are expected to fall to around +17°C and rain is likely. By 20 August daytime values should recover to about +24°C. Meteorologist Nataliya Didenko also notes that the cooler air will spread from western and northern regions across the country during the week, though more hot days may still occur later.
