Kyiv City Administration reports that crews from the municipal corporation Kyivavtodor began checks and road-surface renewal around European Square, near Khreshchatyk. The council says the restrictions run from 15 to 23 August and are concentrated on the square and the north-eastern direction of Khreshchatyk.

Traffic is being managed in stages: repair teams will work sequentially without completely closing the carriageway. The city warns of slowed vehicle and public-transport movement and asks drivers to allow extra time and consider alternative routes while the works continue.

Kyivavtodor apologised for temporary inconvenience and urged residents to account for the partial restrictions when planning journeys through central Kyiv.
