The Pereiaslav city executive committee on 18 August 2026 approved monthly parental payments, planned student numbers and the procedure for granting benefits in the community’s arts schools for the 2026/2027 year. The decision followed proposals from the city culture and tourism department, school administrations and recommendations from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
Planned intake is 270 pupils at the Pavlo Senytsia Music School and 120 pupils (classes 0–6) at the Petro Kholodny Art School. From 1 September 2026 the art school’s core and additional disciplines are set at 300 UAH per month. Music-school tariffs listed by instrument include: guitar 250 UAH; piano and synthesizer 230 UAH; solo and pop vocals 210 UAH; violin 190 UAH; bayan/accordion 160 UAH; bandura 120 UAH; wind and percussion 100 UAH. Post-graduate advanced study programmes will cost 400 UAH per month.
The executive committee also specified benefit rules: 100% tuition exemption for orphans, children from large (three-plus) or low-income families, children with disabilities (if schooling permitted), children of certain deceased or disabled emergency-service and medical workers, and internally displaced children from combat or occupied zones (for the duration of martial law plus 30 days). A 50% discount applies to children of active servicemen, half-orphans and children whose parents have group I or II general disability. Additional conditions cover multiple siblings and simultaneous study on two instruments. Parents must submit full supporting documents to schools by 10 September; monthly payments are due by the 10th for nine academic months. During martial law, delayed payment is not grounds for expulsion.
