Bila Tserkva has begun preliminary testing of a cashless fare system using the municipal e-Hromada app’s Transport module on 10 vehicles across several bus and trolley routes. The system accepts transport cards, QR tickets and other contactless payments and will record each trip automatically. The trial is the city’s first municipal rollout of the e‑Hromada Transport module and will include electronic tickets for pensioners and other beneficiaries.

Bila Tserkva city hall reports that a preliminary test of an automated cashless fare and passenger-accounting system is underway on 10 vehicles supplied by local carriers. The Transport module of the municipal e‑Hromada app will let passengers pay with transport cards, QR tickets and other contactless methods while automatically registering every trip to produce accurate passenger-flow and payment data.

Local carriers provided vehicles on routes including 19, 11, 14 (two buses), 22, 21 and route 2; two trolleybuses from the city trolleybus operator are also involved. The system is intended to ensure transparent accounting of discounted rides.

Social services will issue electronic tickets to eligible beneficiaries while the city finishes testing and required adjustments. After the trial and final approvals, authorities plan a wider test rollout for residents with a step‑by‑step user guide.
