BC.Game, the team for which Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev competes, ended its run in the open qualifier for IEM Beijing 2026 after falling 11:13 to Nemiga on 24 August 2026. That loss eliminated BC.Game from the open stage of the tournament.
Turkish club Eternal Fire — which includes Ukrainian player Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol — progressed to the second day of the open qualifier. Sport.ua reports that only the top four teams from the open qualification will earn slots in the closed stage.
The closed qualifier will feature tougher opposition for those advancing: Sport.ua lists Ukrainian team B8 among the already-waiting competitors, along with 3DMAX, paiN and HEROIC. Sport.ua also directs readers to its esports Telegram channel for further updates.
