Bila Tserkva formalises one-way traffic on Mykola Khrustalenko Street to Central Market AI

On 25 August the Bila Tserkva executive committee approved one-way traffic on Mykola Khrustalenko Street, the short link between Pavlichenko Street, the local bus station and the Central market. The Bila Tserkva executive committee voted on 25 August to formalise one-way traffic on Mykola Khrustalenko Street, which connects Pavlichenko Street with the city bus station and leads to the Central market. Deputy mayor Alyona Kolotnytska said the one-way pattern had been in use and the road already carried signs, but the city lacked an official decision to back them.

City services reviewed archival materials dating back to 2008 and did not find any prior resolution establishing the one-way arrangement. With the executive committee’s approval, the existing signs now have an official basis and the city can proceed with related road works and enforcement.

At the same meeting the committee also approved developing formal traffic-organization schemes for four other streets—Andriya Sheptytskoho, Mykola Amosov, Mytrofanov and Molodizhna. Kolotnytska said about 60% of city roads already have such schemes; municipal staff asked business owners with driveways or parking areas on those streets to submit police-approved site plans to the department handling traffic schemes.
