Ukraine's women's national volleyball team lost to the Czech Republic 1–3 in the fourth round of the group stage at the 2026 European Championship on 25 August. The Czech side took the opening set 25–17, Ukraine answered in the second (25–21), but Czechia regained control to win the third and fourth sets 25–19 and 25–21. The match report names coach Jakub Hlushak as the team's head coach.
The Czech win secured their place in the tournament playoffs. According to the report, Ukraine can only progress to the knockout phase if it finishes above Bulgaria on points; Bulgaria still have two group matches remaining, including games against Austria and the Czech Republic.
Ukraine play Serbia next on 27 August at 17:00 Kyiv time. This was Ukraine's third defeat at the tournament after losses to Bulgaria and Greece; their lone group victory so far came against Austria.
