From 25 August to 8 September Kyiv will partially restrict traffic on Velyka Vasylkivska Street and Taras Shevchenko Boulevard in Shevchenkivskyi district for planned roadworks by Kyivavtodor. Works include asphalt repairs and lowering curbs to improve street accessibility. These closures cut through central Shevchenkivskyi; expect slower trips and consider alternate routes during weekday commutes.

Kyivavtodor has announced that from 25 August until 8 September traffic will be partially limited on Velyka Vasylkivska Street and on Taras Shevchenko Boulevard in the Shevchenkivskyi district of central Kyiv. The changes in traffic organization are connected to scheduled road maintenance.

Teams from the municipal road service (KP SHEU Shevchenkivskyi district) will carry out current repairs of asphalt concrete pavement on designated sections. Crews will also lower curbstones as part of work to create a more convenient and inclusive urban environment for pedestrians and people with mobility needs.

City drivers should expect lane restrictions through the affected corridors during the repair period. Kyivavtodor advises monitoring official updates for exact lane closures and timing. Separately, partial restrictions remain in place on Panasa Myrnoho Street in the Pecherskyi district until 14 September.
