Karolina Muchova and Jakub Mensik captured the mixed doubles trophy at the 2026 US Open on 27 August, beating Belinda Bencic and Flavio Cobolli in a deciding super tiebreak. The final score was 6–3, 1–6, [10–6], with Muchova and Mensik recovering after dropping the second set.
The Czech pair’s route to the title included wins over Kristina Mladenovic/Marcelo Arévalo, Emma Navarro/Tommy Paul, and Mirra Andreeva/Andrey Rublev. For Mensik it was his first Grand Slam final; Muchova added a first major trophy to her résumé after previous singles final losses at Roland Garros 2023 and Wimbledon 2026.
The night before, the tandem of Elina Svitolina and Gaël Monfils were eliminated in the semifinals by Bencic and Cobolli, ending Ukraine’s late run in the mixed draw.
