Lviv formally opened a SENS bookstore-cafe on 27 August 2026 in the former Bohdan Khmelnytskyi cinema at Bohdana Khmelnytskoho, 11. The 550.2 sq m premises are a locally listed architectural monument. The ground floor contains fiction titles and an event stage; the second floor is dedicated to non-fiction. The space has a ramp and a lift for accessibility, and restorers returned wall paintings by national artist Volodymyr Patyk that once decorated the cinema interior. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi attended the opening.
SENS founder Oleksii Erinchak said the team pushed to open on schedule despite supply and logistics problems after Russian attacks on book warehouses, which prevented some publishers from presenting titles and left some repair work incomplete. At the ceremony the mayor presented commemorative city stamps to sponsors; Petro Tseholko, deputy head of the regional culture commission, called the shop a "space of spiritual and intellectual strength." The network already operates in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk.
