On 26 August Kyivpasstrans temporarily changed routes for trolleybuses 22‑K, 27, 30 and 42 after Vadym Hetman Street was closed in both directions while crews dealt with a fire’s aftermath. Services were reported resumed by 10:28 but running off schedule. If you cross the Shuliavka or Karavaevi Dachi areas, expect detours; use nearby metro stations or buses on parallel streets to bypass the closed section.

Kyivpasstrans announced on 26 August that Vadym Hetman Street was closed in both directions while workers cleared the consequences of a fire. As a result trolleybus routes 22‑K, 27, 30 and 42 are operating on temporary schemes.

According to the operator, the temporary routings are: 22‑K between Olzhych Street and the Degtyarivskyi overpass; 27 between Pochaina metro station and the Degtyarivskyi overpass; 30 in both directions via Dorohozhytska Street, Sechevykh Striltsiv Street and Vozdushnykh Syl Avenue; and 42 between Lybidska metro station and Kosmonavtiv Square.

Passengers are advised to use nearby metro stations (Shuliavska, Beresteiska, Pochaina, Lybidska), buses on parallel streets, or transfers near the Degtyarivskyi or Industrial overpasses. Kyivpasstrans told commuters to follow operational updates; service had been restored by 10:28 but vehicles were delayed and schedules affected.
