Alina Grosu has presented a new song and accompanying video called “Durna lyubov” ("Foolish Love"), which she says was filmed in the United States during a week-long trip. According to the artist’s press service, the clip was organised quickly by a compact crew and shot on a picturesque ocean shore over seven days.
Grosu told reporters she left her four-month-old son at home in Ukraine for the first time for this trip, travelling to the US to pick up personal belongings and the family dog. The video shows Grosu with a group of dancers on the beach, wearing white lace dresses with corsets; the visuals include sand, ocean, sunset and fire to create a loose “female tribe” motif.
The artist, who became a mother in April, said she personally contributed choreography ideas and on-set decisions as the team completed final touches in the field. The release was announced through her press service; readers can view the clip via the artist’s official channels.
