Lyudmyla Luzan won Ukraine’s sole gold in the canoe single (C‑1) 200m. She also took silver in the canoe double (C‑2) 500m alongside Anastasiia Rybachok. Vladyslav Yepifanov added a silver in the paracanoe VL3 200m (VL3 is the paracanoe class for athletes with mobility impairments).

The three medals mark progress compared with the 2025 world championships, when Ukraine secured only one silver. Hungary led the 2026 medal table with 14 medals (5 gold), followed by Germany with nine medals.
