Kyiv Digital app adds free municipal parking for people with disabilities AI

Kyiv City State Administration has enabled a 0 UAH/hour municipal parking tariff in the Kyiv Digital app for drivers with disability certificates (groups I–III) and persons disabled due to the war. The benefit requires a pension certificate issued for disability and applies only on city hourly parking lots. This removes a trip to an office for eligible drivers: activate the concession in the app and start each parking session to avoid fines.

Kyiv’s municipal authorities have rolled out free municipal parking inside the Kyiv Digital mobile app for several privileged groups, the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) says. Eligible drivers include people with disability certificates of groups I, II and III, and those classified as disabled because of the war; they must have a pension certificate issued due to disability.

The zero‑hryvnia tariff applies only on hourly parking spaces owned by the city. Specially equipped private lots and closed parking garages are excluded and continue to follow separate payment rules.

To enable the benefit, open your profile in the Kyiv Digital app, go to Social Status, and confirm your pension certificate. The app will show a notification in the Hourly Parking service when the concession is active. KMDA advises starting a free parking session in the app each time you stop to protect against parking inspector fines. The app also supports a discounted subscription for Kyiv taxpayers that links automatically to a vehicle number.
