The State Property Fund held an auction on Wednesday, 9 September, to sell part of the administrative building of the former Kyiv Motorcycle Plant. Fourteen participants competed, lifting the starting price of ₴7.95 million to a winning bid of ₴114.11 million in the Prozorro.Sales system.
The lot covers interior space from the first through the ninth floors, totaling 8,269.7 sq. m. The building has an elevator, electricity and water supply and drainage. The structure stands on a 0.3538 ha land parcel that was not included in the privatization, and a 994.4 sq. m. civil-protection shelter in the basement also remains non-privatized.
The buyer is Kyiv-registered LLC Terra-2021, which lists installation and mounting of machinery and equipment as its activity; the final beneficiary is named as Vasyl Chornomaz. The auction winner has 20 working days to pay after the protocol is formed, and the sale contract will be signed once funds reach the budget. The Kyiv Motorcycle Plant (KMZ) was established in 1945 and produced the well-known Dnipro motorcycles before production ceased in 2012.
