Kyiv’s municipal mobile service Kyiv Digital has introduced a zero‑hryvnia hourly parking tariff for drivers who hold a pension certificate issued because of disability. The concession applies to disability groups I, II and III, and to people with disability resulting from the war, according to reporting that cites the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA).
To use the 0 UAH/hour rate, open your profile in Kyiv Digital, go to the “Social Status” section and confirm your pension status. After confirmation, the Hourly Parking service will show an option for free parking. It is important to start a free parking session in the app each time so that municipal inspectors can see the active session and avoid issuing a fine.
The free tariff applies only on designated municipal hourly parking lots; it does not cover specially equipped parking areas, private parkings, or facilities with separate payment rules. KMDA has framed the feature as part of ongoing development of the city’s digital parking services. Kyiv Digital also continues to offer a discounted municipal parking subscription for residents who pay taxes in Kyiv.
