Bentley presented the Torcal as the company’s first fully electric car in its more-than‑century history. The Torcal is built at Bentley’s Crewe plant on a newly modernised line after a roughly £350 million investment; production mixes hand assembly with autonomous transport systems.
The standard Torcal uses two electric motors for a combined 821 hp and 1,155 Nm torque, with a claimed range up to 600 km. Bentley says a 350 kW charger can add about 240 km of range in roughly 10 minutes. A hotter Torcal S raises output to 888 hp and drops 0–100 km/h to 2.9 seconds.
Inside, Bentley keeps traditional craftsmanship—hand‑finished veneer and leather—combined with digital screens and a new Dinamica material. The model also introduces Bentley Dynamic Symphony, a bespoke soundscape instead of mimicking an internal‑combustion V8. UK pricing starts at about £173,300 (roughly €202,000).
