The National Philharmonic of Ukraine has begun accepting applications for the second season of Immersio Vienna Academy in Kyiv. The programme focuses on immersive training in chamber music and is free for all selected participants.
One of the academy’s mentors is Ukrainian violinist Vira Zhuk, co-founder of the ensemble Immersio Vienna. The article notes Zhuk’s Kyiv debut at age seven, studies at the Lysenko music school and the University of Music and Arts Vienna (Pavel Vernikov’s class), international performances at venues such as Musikverein Wien and Konzerthaus Wien, and recent recordings with her ensemble.
Applications close on 1 October 2026. The FaceNews report links to the Immersio Vienna application page for details and the submission form. The project is supported by the National Philharmonic, the Austrian Kooperationsbüro Lemberg and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Kyiv.
