Kyiv police have imposed a temporary closure on Volodymyrska Street in the Shevchenkivskyi district, officials reported. According to Oleksii Bilshovytskyi, head of the Patrol Police Department, the restriction affects the stretch from the intersection with Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street to the intersection with Taras Shevchenko Boulevard. The closure was in place after 15:00 and had been active for about two hours at the time of the report. The reason for the restrictions has not been specified; patrol officers are regulating traffic and monitoring compliance.

Drivers are advised to detour via nearby parallel streets: Pyrohova, Leontovycha, Khreshchatyk and Pushkinska (Yevhen Chykalenko). Traffic from the university side can be routed toward Taras Shevchenko Boulevard via Mykola Lysenko Street or Ploshcha Ukrainskykh Heroyiv (formerly Lva Tolstogo).
