City Smoke in Pereiaslav staged its fifth anniversary open FIFA (EA FC) tournament on Sunday, 27 September. Organizers changed the format from a group stage to a single round‑robin so each of the ten competitors played nine guaranteed matches; the top four advanced to the semifinals. The contest ran about seven hours and drew players from Pereiaslav and one guest from Boryspil.
Danilo Butnik (playing as France) finished unbeaten and claimed first place, receiving the champion’s cup, a medal and a 50% discount voucher from local sports shop DenRoy. Nazar Butenko (Liverpool) finished second and won a rental certificate from 4 Seasons Enduro; Denis Porokhnya (PSG), who played under the nickname “Sen‑Marsen,” took third. Organizers thanked partners including DenRoy, JukeStore, Avocato Sushi and local deputy Grigory Yarema for covering costs and prizes.
City Smoke’s owner and the tournament founder said they plan to expand the format and hold larger events, and encouraged players and fans to watch future announcements on City Smoke’s and Proslav’s social channels.
