Oleksandr Yatsyk has left Dynamo Kyiv and joined Kharkiv on a permanent transfer, telling Sport.ua on 30 September 2026 that a lack of consistent playing time motivated his decision.
Yatsyk said he was often brought on intermittently and “never started more than one match in a row,” which made it hard to build form. He described Kharkiv as a project where he expects regular matches and conditions to develop as a player.
The 23-year-old midfielder has featured in five matches this season and totals 30 appearances and three goals for Dynamo Kyiv. He called himself a Dynamo youth product and said he had dreamed of debuting for the club’s first team before deciding to move for more playing opportunities.
