DOVZHENKO. First Glance to premiere in Ukraine on 1 October
Konstantin Konovalov’s DOVZHENKO. First Glance, a 2026 historical-biographical film co-produced by Ukraine, Romania and Slovakia, opens in Ukraine on 1 October 2026. The 100‑minute film follows a young Alexander Dovzhenko in 1926 Odessa as he attempts to make his first movie. Kyiv cinemas should add screenings after the nationwide 1 October premiere; check local listings and ticket sites for times and venues.
